Did we ever guess that March was going to end with the last 3 weeks of learning from home? Parents, teachers, students, and staff all want to get back to our normal lives. We miss getting together with our family, colleagues, and friends. Let us continue to pray, during this Lenten Season, that our Easter break brings us all blessed and healthy days to come.
As our virtual learning has begun, we are so happy to see each other. Our parents have done a terrific job in assisting us with the various lessons with the children.
April has begun with lessons and activities on the weather. We are all singing “Rain, Rain, Go Away!” but our singing has not been answered. Maybe we need to sing louder!
We have also been introduced to the beginning of Holy Week. Palm Sunday is when Jesus entered Jerusalem with shouts of praise while the people used Palms to sing “Hosanna.” Holy Thursday was the day of the Last Supper. Good Friday was the day Jesus died, 3 P.M., and Holy Saturday was the day Jesus’ body laid in the tomb. Easter morning we celebrate The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We will continue filling out our calendars with the number and weather in each square; counting to 100;writing and recognizing the numbers 1-20: and the writing and recognizing of letters V, W, X, Y, and Z.
Many activities are done in the various lessons, including videos and read-aloud books.
Again, as your child’s teachers, we thank you for all your help and patience throughout this difficult time.
